The KMT-5V is the most robust machine in Kingston’s celebrated line of KMT mills. The KMT-5V features a 5 HP motor and an NT#40 nose; the rugged design and sturdy head housing ensure this well-built machine will last for years. Turcite-B, which coats the sliding surfaces of the X- and Y-axis for optimal performance, and Meehanite casting make these mills ready to tackle all types of projects. The spindle contains a Class 7 precision bearing and a maximum runout within .0002 inches, with spindle speeds up to 4200 RPM. The knee and table ways are hardened and ground, while a heavy-duty saddle support runs the full width of the table for extra stability. Every shop needs at least one mill – the KMT-5V has you covered.
