Steel Finishing Media, Balls or rounds Steel Finishing Media Ovalballs
Our ball media is manufactured to ABMA bearing dimensional standards and nominal sizes. You can expect high polished surfaces free from visual defects or irregularities. Specified parameters in chemical composition, surface roughness, and hardness can be achieved to order. Ideal contact consistency for critical finishing requirements Used in vibratory finishing and barrel tumbling where an oscillating motion within the mass is beneficial, ovalballs exhibit high polish and provide more surface-to-surface contact than balls. Ideal in applications that require scratch and dimple free finish.

Steel Finishing Media Balcones Steel Finishing Media Diagonals
The choice media for vibratory finishing applications, balcones offer aggressive angles while maintaining contact consistency close to rounds. This media boasts excellent piece uniformity with highly polished surfaces free from visual defects or irregularities and offers the combined burnishing action of cones and rounds. Well suited for finishing objects with hard to reach spaces or odd shaped pieces. The surface exhibits high polish with good size consistency in size and conformance. Beveled edges cut diagonally while inverse symmetry and cylindrical body offer wide contact areas.

Steel Finishing Media Forged Balls
Used in heavy grinding, these balls offer extreme ruggedness and maximum longevity to ensure consistent low per grind cost. You can expect these balls to be semi-round with excellent dimensional stability. This media is preferred for mineral extraction and cement industries and is available in sizes larger than one inch in diameter.
